COZY IN TORONTO
I was so excited to get this oversized sweatshirt, right before heading to Toronto, from local clothing company Yahdie Conscious. And even though it is sleeveless, it is THE perfect item to have for psycho spring weather/fall! Paired with my favorite pair of jeans…I was the most warm and cozy girl in the city!!

A special treat for the men today, or those women who are always thinking of cool gifts to give (I’m probably the only one doing that madness)! This Fall/Winter 2013 Collection for men is simply….how do I put it…it’s just plain AWESOME! The black on black details make it uber edgy and fun for those fashion forward gentlemen. I may just get the sweatshirt for myself!

COTTON CANDY
Play Cloths has teamed up with Saucony to bring you the fresh Cotton Candy Pack, and for all of us with a sweet tooth for footwear, get your wallets! These will go great with the Brooklyn Circus caps in the post below right?? I’m obviously in a print-subdued-color mode today.
Interested? They’ll have a limited release with the first being exclusively available for all Swaag App users.
NOT YOUR TYPICAL CIRCUS
Leather and cool prints?? I can’t resist! Brooklyn Circus has kicked ass with their new Spring/Summer 2013 headwear collection and I’m so digging the florals and stars! They’re perfect for everyday wear…and for those not-so-great hair days as well! It’s about that time to mix some patterns… don’t you think?
You can purchase one of these…or more RIGHT HERE!
Hi there!! It has been a while….. a reaallyyy long while! But the good thing is I wasn’t gone forever! Woot!
So excited to share with you the May/June Caribbean Beat’s The Look page, featuring Bahamian designer Phylicia Ellis! This chick’s attention to detail is impeccable and I was so happy to have been introduced to her and to feature her. AND the best part is I got two pages this time (this is a super big deal)!!!
So if you fly Caribbean Airlines at anytime until the end of June, feel free to take a copy or you can enjoy each page online here!
FEELING THE “BLUES”
A simple (and fun) visit to one of my favourite couples in the world, lead to an impromptu photoshoot for the look of the day. I’m a fan of Ashley Cole, and not just for his super hot looks (they do help though…lol).

THE TOMBOY IN ME
You know how there are some girls who will never be caught dead in sneakers? I’m not one of them. As girly as I am, I dig a nice pair of kicks. And the Asics Gel Lyte III are a dream come true. They can brighten anything, including my world!
HAIR CHRONICLES
I was recently in the Jamaica Observer’s “Under the Dryer” Saturday feature, where I spilled the beans on my curls!
People always ask me what I put in my hair which usually starts a long convo. My hair gets used to products very easily, so I switch it up a lot. The secret? I let go of curl styling products because they either made my hair super greasy or dry. I simply leave in my conditioner, and after towel drying, I put a dabble more in there and go! I also use a gel brush instead of a big tooth comb. This actually helps reduce the frizz. See! Simple as 1, 2 & 3! You can see the products I’m using now in the image above!
P.S. I only colour my hair whenever I visit NY’s Salon 718! Why? My hair has never felt like straw since I started going to my big sis Michaella. I really wish she was pocket size so I could take her everywhere!
1. Moroccan Oil Hydrating Mask; 2. Surface Awaken Shampoo (makes my scalp feel so awesome!); 3.Optimum Fortifying Conditioner; 4. Optimum Ultimate Recovery Shampoo; 5. Mixed Chicks Shampoo

STONE YOU SAY?
I have been a fan of Shwood for a good while now, so when they recently launched their Stone Collection, I officially became a groupie! I love design that’s out of the box and different (no surprise there), so with a hefty $300 tag, I would shell out the cash over any other name brand pair for sure. The wayfarers are calling my name!
To buy these babies go HERE…or simply check out their AWESOME video on how these stone goodies are made!

FASHION BASICS FOR MEN
Just in case you missed it (I’m uber late with this one), here is my feature on Weekend Smile a few weeks ago, where I spoke about fashion basics for men! Let me know your thoughts in the comments section!

COOL CUTE COOKIES
As you probably know, I am a trained Graphic Designer. This is why even though my blog is Alia Michèle Style, I still have a few random typography/print/packaging/etc posts spread throughout. These Früute cookie packages are just too cool! I would buy them just for the packaging and those cute little words! I’m definitely down for some cookies and champagne come March 30th! I demand it!! :) Enjoy!

WATERCOLOUR LOVE
There’s something about watercolour paintings that bring absolute joy to my life. Add fashion to that? I’m like a kid in a candy store! These lovely illustrations by António Soares are simply amazing. I love that the paper is used as a tool for the highlights of each illustration. So simple & lovely!
